Victor Guarino

Though always interested in martial arts, growing up with heroes such as Chuck Norris and Jackie Chan, Victor did not begin his martial arts journey officially until he was a pre-teen. Having had some training in boxing, with his Uncle Mark “Buddy” Osborn, he joined karate when he was 12-years-old at a karate school in Howell, NJ that taught a style called Seigido Ryu. It was there that he earned his 1st degree black belt under Kyoshi Frank DeAngelo in 2007.

Victor continued to train as well as instruct under Kyoshi DeAngelo, attaining the rank of 5th degree black belt in Seigido karate and 4th degree black belt in Seigido jujitsu. While continuing under his first instructor’s tutelage, Victor also cross trains in Tien Hu Bagua Zhang, a traditional Chinese martial art, under Sifu Michael Martin.

“Whether it is by leaps and bounds, or a staggering crawl, keep moving forward; one step at a time, one inch at a time, one breath at a time.”
